Sustainability at Ellesmere Excavation and Aggregate 

At Ellesmere Excavation and Aggregate, our river quarry is one of the most friendly ways to supply material to the country as it constantly replenishes.  We don’t end up with an empty hole to be filled with contamination. We recycle soil, clay and some concrete. We work on being as environmentally friendly as possible.  

We are always working with the environment and we are passionate about protecting any nesting birds. To protect the future of the bird wildlife, we have a rodent trapping strategy in place. Trapping mostly ferrets and stoats, this program continues to be a very effective.
